Essay

in the book called Jekyll and Hyde the writter Stevenson creates mystery in every single chapter he writes different ways of telling us who actually is hyde for example chapter 4 when hyde kills someone with a stick that Utterson gave Jekyll as a present then it all added up as Jekyll and Hyde are the same persons the very frist clue of this was where ever Jekyll was Hyde was never around that straight away tells us that they are kind of working together in a way because their the same persons, the other one was when Hyde went into Jekyll house through the back door a lot of time and that also made Utterson think deeper into this mystery then eventualy we found out who Hyde really was.

The way that Stevenson presents his mystery in Jekyll and Hyde it’s that he gives very little clues that you really have to investigate to really find out what they all add up to.

Personaly I like the way Stevenson presents his clues to the readers it makes the book more interesting  because we have explore the clues before he tells us the answer for the mystery and that is the stuff that will make the reader read on.!

  1. Oscar,

Your last paragraph begins to explore dramatic irony and therefore tension but this is where you end your essay. What a shame!

Go back and develop your exploration of dramatic irony and how this affects the reader and our interpretation of the novel.
